FIX 1: DeletePixel Buds Cache
Your first course of action should be to c lear the Pixel Buds app cache , unpair the buds , and then reboot the phone. Then re-pair the buds, and the underlying issue might be fixed. If not, move over to the next fix.
FIX 2: Delete Pixel Buds Data
- First off, head over to Settings > Apps > All Apps > Pixel Buds.
- Next up, go to Storage and Cache > Clear Storage > tap on OK.
- Now, restart your device and re-pair your Buds to your device.
FIX 3: Delete Bluetooth Data
Next up, you should delete the Bluetooth app data. However, this might remove all your paired devices. If that’s all well and good, then let’s get started.
- First and foremost, head over to the Settings > Apps > All Apps menu.
- Then tap on the overflow icon at the top right and select Show System.
- Now, select Bluetooth > go to Storage and Cache > Clear Storage > OK.
- Then restart your device and re-pair your buds to your device. That’s it.
FIX 4: Reset Pixel Buds
- First off, unpair your Buds from the Bluetooth Settings menu.
- Then put your Buds case to charging mode using a USB cable.

- Release the pairing button when the case light stops blinking.
- Now re-pair your Buds with your device and check the result.
FIX 5: Reset Device
If none of the methods worked out in your favor, then your last course of action is to reset your device. However, it goes without saying that doing so will wipe off all the data from your device. So make sure to take a backup beforehand and only then refer to the steps below:
- First off, head over to Settings > System > Reset Options.
- Then, select Erase all data [factory reset] > Erase all data.
- Wait for the reset to complete and then set up the device.
- Once done, re-pair your buds and then check the results.
