There are a few other noteworthy players that doesn’t get the appreciation they deserve.

Windows
- First off, download the BiFrost app from GitHub . Then extract it onto your PC.
- Now, go to the Bin folder and launch the Bifrost.exe file.
- Then type in your device’s Model Number [you may verify it from Settings > About Phone > Model Name].
- Don’t type in anything after the forward slash. For example, if it shows SM-A528B/DS, then input SM-A528B as the model number.
- Then type in the desired CSC code. If you want to use the existing one , then verify it from Settings > About Phone > Software Information > Service Provider Software Information. The first section denotes the current active CSC, which in my case is INS.
- As soon as you input the CSC, the tool will automatically type in the IMEI Number. But how? Well, Bifrost automatically generates 100 IMEIs for the model number you enter [though you have the option to manually input your device’s IMEI, which will help you download the firmware for any CSC code].
- Finally, click on Check for Updates, and you’ll get the latest available firmware for your device. Just hit Download, and the firmware will be downloaded to your PC.
