BMW Parking assistant & forward PDC with Mekede MN-X ZQ9109

Recently, I was browsing a forum wherein I came across quite a few issues related to BMW Parking assistant & forward PDC with Mekede MN-X ZQ9109. Here’s what one of the users had to say in this regard:

I have a 2016 BMW 116D NBT and recently bought a MEKEDE MN-X ZQ9109 with 6 GB+128 GB. The main issue is this: My car has OEM parking assistant and PDC. I have the back camera option set up to use the OEM system, and everything works as expected when I’m in or I engage reverse. The problem is when I want to use the parking assistant (which works in 1st gear) or the front sensors without being in reverse. Even though they are active, and i can hear them, the screen doesn’t display the information, and I have to manually go to the OEM menu to use it(This is not viable because most of the time, these are quick situations where I can’t stop the maneuver to switch menus.) Also, the PDC button activates the system, but it doesn’t show on the screen. Is there any option or programming method to modify this? What I would like is for it to work like the OEM version, where it only deactivates the PDC screen after the car reaches around 20 km/h.

Hi, similar situation on an MT8163 system. MCU: CVD1810-WJ_23.12.12_399. When the car is in reverse, the PDC front and rear work like they should (sound and sensors on the screen). When the car is in N or first gear, the system is not visible on the screen. There’s no option to show the screen while the front moves. Any ideas to activate the „Park screen“ manual, or to keep the screen 5 seconds longer after reverse? Also, maybe there’s an app I can use to see the PDC sensors ok the screen?

Same issue here, as soon as I switch from reverse to drive it turns the camera off and therefore I have no visuals for front parking sensors. But I can still hear it beeping.

There exist two methods that should help you address this bug. Try out both of them and then see which one works in your favor.

FIX 1

Go to the BacCar Configuration > Rear Car Type > Enable the toggle next to Rear Car Trajectory and Car Rear Radar. See if it spells out success for you or not.

FIX 2

Go to Personalization > Enable the toggle next to Radar Activation Switch > Check out the result.
