Caps Lock key on Mac takes too long to respond? Here’s why & its Fix

This is because as soon as I started writing an article, I found out that the Caps Lock key was not responding along the expected lines. Out of, let’s say, 5 key presses, it only responded once or twice. But before jumping to any conclusion, I decided to take a stroll to the World Wide Web, and thankfully, I came across this post wherein a user highlighted an important article from Apple . Here’s what the Cupertino giant has to say:

If the Media Eject key or Caps Lock key doesn’t work Try holding down the key longer . These keys have a slight delay to prevent an immediate response if they’re pressed accidentally. Press and hold the Media Eject key until the Media Eject icon appears on the screen, and press and hold the Caps Lock key until the key’s indicator light comes on.
