STEP 1: Install Android SDK

So head over to Settings > About Phone > Tap on Build Number 7 times > Go back to Settings > System > Advanced > Developer Options > Enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking.

STEP 3: Unlock Bootloader Realme GT 5G

STEP 4: Download Realme GT India and Global ROM

Now grab hold of the stock firmware corresponding to your region from below. The ROMs that have the “[already converted to IMG]” tag are the ones that have already been extracted from their OZIP package and converted to ZIP. You just need to extract their ZIP via WinRAR and you will get all the partition IMG files.

Anyways, no matter which method you opt for or which ROM file you download, the end result should be that all the partition IMG files should be transferred to the platform-tools folder on your PC.

STEP 5: Boot Realme GT to Fastboot Mode

  1. Connect your device to the PC via USB cable. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
  2. Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch the Command Prompt.
  3. After that, type in the following command in the CMD window to boot your device to Fastboot Mode adb reboot bootloader
  4. To verify the Fastboot connection, type in the below command and you should get back the device ID. fastboot devices

STEP 7: Flash Realme GT EU/Indian ROM via Fastboot Commands

STEP 4: Download Realme GT India and Global ROM

Now grab hold of the stock firmware corresponding to your region from below:

Indian ROM

  • Download: RMX2202_ROLLBACK_Android11_IN.zip

EU ROM

  • Download: RMX2202_ROLLBACK_Android11_EUEX_0609.zip

STEP 5: Boot Realme GT to Fastboot Mode

  1. Connect your device to the PC via USB cable. Make sure USB Debugging is enabled.
  2. Then head over to the platform-tools folder, type in CMD in the address bar, and hit Enter. This will launch the Command Prompt.
  3. After that, type in the following command in the CMD window to boot your device to Fastboot Mode adb reboot bootloader

STEP 6: Boot Realme GT to TWRP Recovery

We will now temporarily boot your device to the TWRP Recovery for one-time usage. Follow along.

  1. Download the TWRP Recovery for your device: TWRP-3.6.0_V2.img
  2. Then transfer it to the platform-tools folder on your PC.
  3. Likewise, rename it to twrp, so that the complete name becomes twrp.img.
  4. Now open CMD inside the platform-tools folder and execute the below command to boot your device to TWRP: fastboot boot twrp.img

STEP 7: Flash Realme GT EU/Indian ROM via TWRP

  1. To begin with, transfer the downloaded ROM to the platform-tools folder on your PC.
  2. Then rename the downloaded firmware file to ROM, so that the complete name becomes ROM.ZIP.
  3. After that, execute the below command to send the ROM to the /data/ota.zip directory: adb push ROM.zip /data/ota.zip
  4. Now execute the below command to flash the ROM.ZIP file: adb shell twrp install /data/ota.zip
  5. Once the flashing is complete, boot your device to the stock recovery using the following command: adb reboot recovery
  6. Now factory reset your device from the Stock Recovery. Once done, you may reboot your device to the OS.
