And all these issues go away as soon as we switch back to the default home launcher. It seems as if OEMs have programmed something behind closed curtains, which tends to conflict with the normal functioning of these launchers.

We have combined 3-4 fixes into a single one for your ease. Just make sure you check off all these steps on the list. So on that note, let’s get started. NOTE: The steps are given taking Nova Launcher as an example, the steps will be near about same for all the other launchers as well.

  1. Head over to the Settings > Accessibility > Nova Launcher.
  2. Then enable the toggle next to Use Nova Launcher > Allow.
  3. Next, open Nova Settings > Backup and Restore > Back up.
  4. Now go to Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Pixel Launcher.
  5. Once done, go to Settings > Apps > Nova Launcher > Storage & Cache > Tap on Delete Data > Delete.
  6. Then, go to Settings > About Device > Tap Build Number 7 times. This will enable Developer Options.
  7. Let’s access it. To do this, head to Settings > System > Developer Options.
  8. Now, change the below settings to either 0.5x or turn them off completely: Window animation scale Transition animation scale Animator duration scale
  9. Finally, switch back to Nova Launcher as your default and check the result.
