EliteROM Plus offers built-in Strong Integrity: Here’s How to Pass it

In this guide, we will show you the steps to implement Strong Integrity in the EliteROM Plus. Google is further tightening the screws in the custom development which is resulting in more and more users leaving this domain. Only a bunch of hardcore tech enthusiasts remain, out of which some of them are ready to jump over to the other side of the fence sooner than later.

But what has led to such drastic measures? Well, the introduction of the Play Integrity proved to be a major hindrance in unlocking the device’s bootloader and rooting it. Then the new Android 13+ checks put the final nail in the coffin as the presence of an unrevoked keybox XML file became a must, which is an extremely difficult task to get hold of.

While most of the Custom ROMs nowadays do provide the Spoofing option but that will only make you pass the Basic and Device Tests, not the Strong Test. This is where the EliteROM Plus comes into the picture- it will even make you pass the Strong Integrity test, but at a cost! Let’s find out what it is and how you can pass this test in this ROM.

  1. First off, head over to Settings > Elite Customizations > Spoof Device.
  2. Now go to Keybox Settings and tap on Fetch latest Elite’s Side keybox.
  3. Then tap on Apply Keybox. After that head over to the Elite PIF Menu.
  4. Then tap on Fetch Latest Elite’s Side PIF Profile > tap on Save Profile.
  5. Next up download and install Play Integrity API Checker and launch it.
  6. You’ll now pass all three tests- Basic, Device, and even the Strong one!

But Should You Really Pay For a Custom ROM?

SO this begs the all-important question- should you really shell out some bucks on a custom ROM? Well, it depends on individual preference, but if you were to take my opinion, my answer will be a big no! And there are two reasons for the same. First off, I’m never a fan of the MIUI/HyperOS ecosystem. No matter how much the developer tends to offer a fast, stable, and debloated OS, the underlying base OS is still HyperOS/MIUI. But the ROM is passing the Strong Test as well, shouldn’t that be a luring factor?

Well, not for me because I can manually pass this test across all custom ROMs using my own keybox XML file ! But if getting a new keybox XML file every time the old one is patched, manually placing it in the data/adb/tricky_story directory, and updating the modules [when required] is too much of a task, then you should definitely go ahead and try out the Paid version of this ROM- granted all th eother features of this ROM falls in place for you as well.
