Fix Cannot install third party apps on Watch from iPhone Watch app

In this guide, we will show you a nifty workaround to fix the issue of being unable to install third-party apps using the iPhone Watch App. Recently we came across a few reports wherein users had recently switched over to a new iPhone and were successful in restoring the data from their older iPhone. However, they were initially unable to pair their Watch with the new phone. To rectify it, they had to unpair it from their old iPhone and re-pair it with the new one.

But this then bought up another issue- they are now unable to install third-party apps on their Watch from the Watch app on their iPhone. When they hit the Install button on the Watch app, they get the approval double click on their Watch. The only workaround that is spelling out success for the users involves uninstalling that third-party app from the iPhone and then reinstalling it from the App Store. Once you do so, the apps would then successfully install onto your watch as well. While this would definitely rectify the underlying issue, however, it has one major [obvious] caveat- all the data corresponding to that app will be erased, so make sure to take its backup beforehand.
