In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the GMS Flags not working and getting the No Schema Error in some cases. Using this app, you can change [add or remove] certain parameters [aka flags] in the Google app to unlock some hidden features. In the past, I have used this app across many of my guides, including:

How to Install and Use Pixel Studio on any Android
How to Enable Share with QR Code in Quick Share on Android

How to Enable Phone Number Lookup in Google Dialer/Phone app
How to Enable Gemini in Google Messages
How to Install Multiple Apps at Once from Play Store

However, the past week when I gave this app another shot, it was not able to read and identify any of the insytalled apps. Likewise, one of my readers pointed out that they are getting the No Schema Error in the GMS Flags app. If you are also facing any of these issue, then this guide will help you rectify it. Likewise, we will also make you aware of the reason behind this issue. Follow along.
Fix GMS Flags Not Working- No Schema Error

The reason why you are facing this issue is because the developer is no longer maintaining this app. Why? Well, Google changed the internal structure of the GMS database, breaking compatibility with previous tools. So what’s next? Well, they have started working on a new project named GMS Phixit . However, currently it is in the testing phase [alpha stage], and to make matters worse, all flags will reset to their default state after 24 hours. So if that’s all well and good, then let’s get started.

As of now, the developer has shared all the files present in the app, but he hasn’t compiled it as an APK and shared it on GitHub. So you can take two approaches: take those files and compile them into an APK via Android Studio [which I have done], or simply get the APK from the developer’s Telegram channel . Once you have got the app, launch it, give it root access, and tweak the flag as per your need!

Regarding the app’s root access, in case of Magisk, you’ll get the SuperUser request right away, just tap on Grant. However, for APatch and KernelSU, you need to go to the SuperUser tab and enable the toggle next to GMS Flags.
