Add GIF in Instagram Comments - 1
  1. First off, make sure that you are on Instagram version 271.0.0.11.84 or higher.
  2. Then launch the app and go to any post, you should see a GIF button at the extreme right.
  3. Just tap on it and select the desired GIF, it will be added as a reply in the comments.

GIF Button is Missing in Instagram: How to Fix

As already mentioned before, this feature is slowly rolling out in batches, so not everyone would be blessed with this feature in one go. But if the GIF button is missing in your Instagram, you could still add them using a nifty workaround.

  1. First off, make sure that you are on Instagram version 271.0.0.11.84 or higher.
  2. Then launch the app, go to any post, and tap on More next to the GIF of your choice.
  3. Now tap on See all by creator. It will bring up a list of all the GIS from that creator.
  4. Just tap on the desired one and it will be added as a reply in the comments section.
