  2. Next up, enable USB Debugging and connect your device to the PC.
  3. Now open Command Prompt inside platform-tools folder and type adb shell cmd device_config override launcher enable_one_search true adb shell am force-stop com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher
  4. That’s it. You’ll now get the old launcher search UI on your Pixel.

How to Get Back the New Pixel Launcher Search UI

If, for some reason, you wish to restore the new search UI, then just set the aforementioned command’s value to False and restart the launcher. In other words, simply execute the following commands:

adb shell cmd device_config override launcher enable_one_search false

adb shell am force-stop com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher
