Before starting, please take a complete device backup [if possible]. First off, get the required files from below:

  • MSM Download Tool: DOWNLOAD
  • Berkler’s Tools: DOWNLOAD
  • Notepad++: DOWNLOAD
  • Android SDK Platform Tools: DOWNLOAD
  • 7ZIP: DOWNLOAD

Instructions

  1. First off, download and install Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
  2. Then, create a temp folder in the platform tools folder
  3. Download the MSM Download Tool for your current region and save it in the temp folder.
  4. Next, download the MSM Download Tool for the region you want to convert to and save it in the temp folder as well.
  5. Likewise, download the Berkler Tool and save it in the temp folder
  6. Now, extract both the MSM and Berkler Tools in the temp folder. So you should now have 3 new folders.
  7. Next up, install Python 3 from the Microsoft Store | Official Store .
  8. Now open Command Prompt inside the Berkler tools folder.
  9. Then type python3 and see if Python is installed. If it isn’t, then please reinstall it from any other source.
  10. Once installed, type python3 . Then, drag the “ opscrypto.py ” file from Berkler’s tool folder over to the command prompt.
  11. Now, type decrypt and drag the .ops file from your current region’s extracted MSM Tool folder to the CMD. The final command should look something like this: C:\sadiq\oppo_decrypt-master> python3 " C:\sadiq\oppo_decrypt-master\opscrypto.py " decrypt " C:\sadiq\TMO\lemonadept_22_O.04_210409mod3\lemonadep_22_E.05_210324mod3.ops "
  12. It will now create a folder in your current region’s MSM Download Tool folder named ‘extract’.
  13. Now perform the same process for the .ops file for the region you want to convert to, so that it creates the ‘extract’ folder in that MSM Tool folder as well.
  14. Next, create another folder in the temp folder and name it MSM_Mod.
  15. Now, copy all the files from the region you want to convert to into this folder.
  16. Then install Notepad++, go to the MSM Download Tool folder of your current region, and open the ‘extract’ folder.
  17. Now, scroll down and open the settings.xml file in Notepad++. Select the entire second line in the settings.xml file and copy it.
  18. Now, head over to the MSM_Mod folder and open the extract folder. Then open the settings.xml file via Notepad++.
  19. Now, both settings.xml files will be open in Notepad++. Make sure the settings.xml file for the region you want to convert is active and highlight line 2. Then click Edit > Paste.
  20. Next, go back to the current region settings.xml, scroll to the bottom and look for a line similar to “ “
  21. Now copy that line, go back to the settings.xml file that you are converting to, highlight the TARGET line at the bottom, and click Paste. Click Save and close both files.
  22. In the MSM_Mod folder, rename the .ops file extension to .opsbkup
  23. Then go back to the CMD window, type python3 , then drag the opscrypto.py file from Berkler’s tool folder over to the command prompt.
  24. Now, type encrypt , then drag the extracted folder from the MSM-Mod folder to the command prompt, and the command should look something like this: C:\sadiq\oppo_decrypt-master> python3 " C:\Users\Ghost\Desktop\OnePlus 9 Pro Tools\oppo_decrypt-master\opscrypto.py " encrypt " C:\sadiq\TMO\lemonadept_22_O.04_210409mod3\extract "
  25. Once done, there should be a file called output.ops in the MSM_Mod folder. You can now run this MSM Tool to convert your device.
