The downgrading process will wipe off all the data from your device, so take a complete device backup beforehand. Via Beta Updates Hub App

This is the normal way of carrying out the downgrade and should be used if your device’s bootloader is locked [which would be the case with most of our readers].

  1. Downgrade the rollback firmware for your device from below Phone (3) Phone (2) Phone (2a) Phone (2a) Plus
  2. Then go to Settings > System > Nothing Beta Hub.
  3. Now tap Import File and select the downgrade package.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the downgrade.

NOTE: If you see an error, create a folder called Documents in Internal Storage, place the file there, and try again.

Via Fastboot Command

This method should be used if your device’s bootloader is unlocked and/or it is rooted.

  1. Download the Nothing OS 3 Fastboot ROM from here.
  2. Then get the Flashing Script for your device from here.
  3. Now select all the files > right-click on them > 7-ZIP > Extract to *.
  4. All the files will now be extracted. Place them into one single folder.
  5. Then place the flashing script inside that folder as well.
  6. Now boot your device to Fastboot Mode via the below command: adb reboot bootloader
  7. Then launch the flashing script and reply accordingly. For instance: Format Data: Y Flash across both slots: Y Disable Android Verified Boot: Y
  8. Once the flashing is complete, hit Enter. The device will boot to the OS.
