- Now, head over to Whapa Tool on GitHub, click on Code > Download ZIP.
- Extract the ZIP and head to the cfg folder. Open the Settings.cfg file via Notepad.
- Next to Gmail, type in the email ID that is associated with your Google Drive account.
- Under celnumbr, type in the phone number that you are using in WhatsApp.
- Now go to Google’s Create and Manage Your App Password page.
- Sign in to your account, write the name of the application Whapa, and hit Create. You’ll now get a password, copy it.
- Then go to the settings.cfg file and paste the password in the Password field. Hit Ctrl+S to save the changes.
- Once done, go to the doc folder of Whapa and open the requirements.txt file.
- Replace the first line [requests] with requests==2.29.0 and save the changes via Ctrl+S.
- Now, launch the whapa-gui file. It will open the WhatsApp Parser toolset.
- Click on the Install Requirements button and wait for the process to complete.
- Once done, relaunch the tool and click on WhaGoDrive. Then select Info about account and hit the green button.
- It will list out all the details about the backup, including its size as well as the media size.
- Then choose the desired file from the right-hand side that you want to download and click on the green button.
- All the files will now be downloaded in the Output path. That’s it.
