Is Link Speed your Current Network Speed?
Under Connection Information, you see one feature named Link Speed. Regarding this, Link Speed is not your actual current internal speed; on the contrary, it is the maximum potential speed between your device and the router. On newer One UI builds, you’ll see Link Speed broken into TX and RX. Let’s understand what they both mean:
- TX (Transmit/Upload): The maximum speed at which your device can send data to a server or other devices.
- RX (Receive/Download): The maximum speed at which your device can receive data from the internet.
For example, a 100 Mbps Link Speed generally means a 100 Mbps transmit (Tx) and 100 Mbps receive (Rx) capability.
