How to Enable Now Brief in One UI 6 [Without Root]

In this guide, we will show you an interesting method using which you can enable the Now Brief feature on your Samsung device running One UI 6. The seventh iteration of the OS made us wait, but when this wait time was over, it did treat us to some intriguing goodies. One of the most talked-about features is the Now Bar with the embedded Now Brief feature.

As far as the former goes, it displays information such as live notifications, music, or modes and routines on the lock screen. On the other hand, the Now brief feature provides a personalised briefing of content that updates throughout the day. It displays content only from those apps that you have selected beforehand, such as Health and Wellness, Travel, Digital Wellbeing, Wellness, Stories, Travel, etc.

And guess what? You can now make this feature to even work on One UI 6.1.1. And in this guide, we will show you how to do just that. So without further ado, let’s get started.

How to Enable Now Brief in One UI 6 [Without Root]

1. To begin with, download, install, and set up Shizuku on your device.
2. Then download and install the SystemUI Tuner app on your device.
3. Next, download and install Personal Data Intelligence [v7.0.06.0] .
4. Now launch SystemUITuner and give it the Shizuku access.
5. Then tap on System > Lock Screen > Choose Left or Right Lock Screen Shortcut.
6. Now go to Personal Data Intelligence > search for the below flag and choose it: com.samsung.android.smartsuggestions/.settings.about.developermode.DeveloperModeActivity
7. Then tap OK and lock the screen. Now open that shortcut and enable the toggle at the top.
8. Now, turn on “Enable New Card for AI Suggestion” and “Enable Personal Data Engine”.
9. Then restart your device. Now, download and install Activity Launcher from the Play Store.
10. Launch it > search for Suggestion > select Personal Data Intelligence from the result.
11. Within that, search Content > select SuggestionUiContentActivity > click Create Shortcut > Add.
12. That’s it. You may now launch that widget and it will open Now Brief.
13. You may tap on the Settings icon to further customize it, such as the contents to include and to display on the Lock Screen or not.
