How to Flash OxygenOS 15/16 on Ace 5 Pro

The Prerequisites

  1. To begin with, download and extract the Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
  2. Then, enable USB Debugging and OEM Unlocking, and connect your device to PC.
  3. Next up, unlock the bootloader on your device [make sure to backup all your data].
  4. Now, open CMD inside platform-tools and boot your device to Fastboot Mode via: adb reboot bootloader
  5. Then type in the below command and install Fastboot Drivers if there’s no serial ID. fastboot device

Flashing Steps

  1. To begin with, extract the downloaded OxygenOS file on your PC.
  2. Then run the Frankenstein_Flasher.bat file. The flashing will now start.
  3. It will flash some files in Fastboot Mode before moving over to FastbootD.
  4. Once in FastbootD, select the English language to continue with the flashing.
  5. You will be asked if you flashed from ColorOS/want to Wipe Data. Type YES.
  6. So do the formatting from the FastbootD Mode. Once done, the device will boot to OxygenOS!

Fix Signal Not Working on OxygenOS Ace 5 Pro

After converting your OnePlus Ace 5 Pro from ColorOS to OxygenOS, the signal will stop working. Fortunately, you can easily fix this issue. Just root your device via Magisk / KernelSU / APatch, flash the signal-fix module , and restart your device.

Can I Relock The Bootloader on OxygenOS OnePlus Ace 5 Pro

No, you cannot relock the bootloader after converting your OnePlus Ace 5 Pro from ColorOS to OxygenOS. If you wish to relock, you’ll first have to go back to ColorOS, the instructions for which are given below.

Flashing Steps

  1. Boot your device to Fastboot Mode as explained in the Prerequisites section.
  2. Then extract the ColorOS ROM ZIP and run the Regional_Flasher.bat file.
  3. It will flash some files in Fastboot Mode before moving over to FastbootD.
  4. Once the flashing is done, the script will ask you to format the data.
  5. Do so from the option present in the FastbootD Mode.
  6. Once done, the device will reboot to ColorOS. That’s it.
