How to Force Enable WiFi 6GHz/6E on OnePlus 13
In this guide, we will show you the steps to enable the WiFi 6GHz/6E on your OnePlus 13. The new WiFi 6GHz, also known as WiFi 6e, offers more bandwidth than in counterparts, which in turn translates to faster speeds, lower latency, and less interference compared to the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.
Moreover, most Android devices do support this latest spectrum, but the OEMs have placed some restrictions on it, thereby preventing users from giving it a try. How to Force Enable WiFi 6GHz/6E on OnePlus 13

- To begin with, root your device via Magisk / KernelSU / APatch .
- Then enable USB Debugging and connect your device to the PC via USB cable.
- Now, download and extract Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
- Then open Command Prompt inside platform-tools and type in the following commands: adb shell su cmd wifi get-country-code US
- Now, check if you are able to scan the 6G. If you can, only then proceed with the below steps.
- Now, download the WiFiCountryCodeUS.zip module [Credit: XDA Member lksavaewf]
- Then flash this module via Magisk/KernelSU/APatch and restart your device. That’s it.
- The module has changed your device region to US, thereby enabling 6G as well.
- For the sake of information, this Magisk module runs the following command on boot: cmd wifi get-country-code US
- However, if you want to change it to any other country [that supports 6G], then open the module’s service.sh file.
- Now change US to any other region of your choice from the below line and save it. Then reflash the module. TARGET_COUNTRY=“US”
