How to Go Back to Stock ROM From a Custom ROM on Motorola

In this guide, we will show you the steps to go back to stock ROM from a custom ROM on your Motorola device. After doing excessive research as to which Motorola devices are the most active players in the custom development, I narrowed down the result to Moto G54 5G [cancauf] and Moto Edge 30 [dubai]. Among them, I got my hands on the former and started doing the tweaks right away.

After unlocking its bootloader , I flashed a custom ROM and tested out its features. Then it was time to go back to stock and flash a new ROM. While I haven’t got my hands on a Moto device for ages, I still had an idea or two that the Lenovo Rescue and Smart Assistant Tool is usually used for flashing stock firmware. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be more wrong.

When I tried flashing the firmware via that tool, I was straightaway greeted with the “Software fix has detected that your device already has the latest firmware version” error. So I did some further research on this topic and found out another method through which you can go back to stock ROM from a custom one on your Motorola device. So without any further ado, let’s show you how this could be done.
