Supported Gemini Watches

All Samsung watches running the latest One UI software are capable enough to run Gemini. So this means the Samsung smartwatches from the Galaxy 4 series onwards [including both the Watch 4 and its Classic variant] will support Gemini. If your watch falls in the support bracket, then follow along with the instructions to install Google’s AI.

There are three different ways of getting this job done. Go through each of them and then try out the one that is in sync with your requirements.
From Play Store
The easiest of them all, just head over to the Play Store from your watch, search Gemini, and install it. However, some users have said that after installing it from the Play Store, they still have Assistant in their app drawer. If you are also facing this issue, then proceed with the next method.
Via Wear Installer
This is perhaps the easiest way of installing any APK file on your watch. Here’s what needs to be done:
- To begin with, download the Gemini APK from a trusted third-party site and transfer it to your device.
- Then head over to Settings > About Watch > Software Information > Tap Software Version 7 times. This will enable Developer Options.
- So go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable ADB Debugging and Wireless Debugging..
- Your IP Address and Port number will be listed there, note it down somewhere.
- If it isn’t there, then go to Settings > Connectivity > WiFi and copy your IP Address from there.
- Now download and install the Wear Installer app onto your phone.
- Launch the Wear Installer app on your device. Then type in the IP Address in the space provided (at the bottom).
- However, do not paste the Port Number (the four numbers after the colon). For example, if your IP is 192.168.x.xxx:8080, then just paste the 192.168.x.xxx in the app.
- Once you have entered the IP, tap Done. Wear Installer will now be loaded onto your device. Go to its Download tab and select the Gemini APK file.
- As soon as you tap on that APK, you will get the Allow Debugging prompt on your watch, tap OK or Always Allow from this computer.
- Now tap on the Install button in the Wear Installer app on your device. The app will now be installed on your watch. Reference Image
- Once done, you will get the APK successfully installed message. Tap on Finish and you may now disable the Debugging on your watch. Reference Image
Via Bugjaeger App
This is also a nifty app that will allow you to install APKs on your watch via ADB Debugging. Here’s how it can be used to install Gemini on your Samsung Galaxy smartwatch.
- To begin with, download and install Bugjaeger on your device.
- Now, open the app and hit the Connect icon at the extreme right.
- Next up, download the Gemini APK from a trusted third-party site on your device.
- On your watch, go to Settings > System > About > Tap on Build Number 7 Times.
- This will enable the Developer Options. So go there > Enable Wireless Debugging > Tap on Pair New Device.
- You’ll get the WiFi Pairing Code, IP Address, and Port. Input these details in the Bugjaeger app on your device and hit Connect.
- Now, go to the third tab of Bugjaeger, hit the Plus icon at the bottom right, and choose ‘Select APK File’.
- Choose the Gemini APK and it will be installed on your watch. That’s it.
