How to Install HyperOS 3 Android 16 on Poco F5

The Prerequisites

  1. Download and extract Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
  2. Then, enable USB Debugging & OEM Unlocking on your device.
  3. Now unlock the device’s bootloader [take a backup beforehand].
  4. Then open Command Prompt inside platform-tools and type in: adb reboot bootloader
  5. Now type the below command and verify if you’re getting an ID: fastboot devices
  6. If you aren’t, then please install the Fastboot Drivers on your PC.
  7. Now refer to either of these two methods to flash the HyperOS 3.

Flash HyperOS 3 on Poco F5 via Fastboot Method

  1. Download and extract the ROM on your PC.
  2. Then launch the bat file to start the flashing.
  3. Once done, the device will boot to HyperOS.

Flash HyperOS 3 on Poco F5 via Recovery Method

  1. Download and install the TWRP Recovery on your device.
  2. Then, boot your device to TWRP via the below command: adb reboot recovery
  3. From TWRP Recovery, go to Wipe and select Format Data.
  4. Now type YES in the space provided and hit the checkmark.
  5. Once that’s done, transfer the ROM ZIP file to your device.
  6. After that, go to Install, select the ROM ZIP file, and flash it.
  7. Once done, go to Wipe and do a Format Data once again.
  8. Finally, head over to Reboot and tap on the System.
  9. Your device will now reboot to the newly flashed OS.
