How to Install OxygenOS 15 on Poco F5

How to Install OxygenOS 15 on Poco F5

Before starting, please take a complete device backup. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the below steps.

  1. To begin with, download and extract the Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
  2. Then, enable USB Debugging & OEM Unlocking and connect the device to the PC.
  3. After that, unlock the bootloader on your device using any of these workarounds .

  5. Then open Command Prompt inside platform-tools and type in the below command: adb reboot bootloader
  6. This will boot the device to Fastboot Mode. So type in the following command now: fastboot devices
  7. If you’re getting a serial ID, well and good, else, install Fastboot Drivers on your PC.
  8. Next, install the TWRP Recovery on your PC and then boot your device to it using: adb reboot recovery //from the OS fastboot reboot recovery //from the Fastboot Mode
  9. Then go to Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Format Data > Type YES > Hit the checkmark.
  10. Now transfer the ROM and firmware ZIP files to your device.
  11. Then go to Install, select the firmware ZIP file, and flash it. Next, flash the ROM ZIP.
  12. Once done, do a Format Data once again from the Wipe section.
  13. Finally, go to Reboot > tap on Slot A > System. The device will now boot to OxygenOS!
