Well, the title might sound a tad confusing at first, and that is completely understandable. The culprit in the majority of cases is Tasker’s Use Reliable Alarms feature. Apart from that, Google Assistant’s Upcoming Reminder alerts have also proven to be a plausible cause behind this issue. So let’s address both these issues which in turn should rectify the underlying issue as well.

Disable Tasker’s Use Reliable Alarms

  1. Launch Tasker and go to Preferences > Monitor.
  2. Then set the Use Reliable Alarms feature to Never.
  3. Now restart your device and the issue stands rectified.

Disable Google Assistant’s Upcoming Reminder

  1. Launch the Google App, tap on your avatar, and select Settings.
  2. Then select Google Assistant from the list and go to At a Glance.
  3. Finally, scroll to Upcoming and disable the toggle next to it.
  4. Once done, restart your device and the issue stands rectified.
