The culprit in the majority of cases is Tasker’s Use Reliable Alarms feature. Apart from that, Google Assistant’s Upcoming Reminder alerts have also proven to be a plausible cause behind this issue. So let’s address both these issues which in turn should rectify the underlying issue as well.
Disable Tasker’s Use Reliable Alarms
- Launch Tasker and go to Preferences > Monitor.
- Then set the Use Reliable Alarms feature to Never.
- Now restart your device and the issue stands rectified.
Disable Google Assistant’s Upcoming Reminder
- Launch the Google App, tap on your avatar, and select Settings.
- Then select Google Assistant from the list and go to At a Glance.
- Finally, scroll to Upcoming and disable the toggle next to it.
- Once done, restart your device and the issue stands rectified.
