How to Remove the Pin Icon from the Firefox Shortcuts
In this guide, we will show you the steps to remove the pin icon from the Firefox shortcuts. This privacy-centric browser keeps on introducing new changes from time to time, but some of them don’t fall in line with the user’s requirements. The latest one to make its presence felt is the addition of the Pin icon in the website shortcuts. Here’s what one of the users had to say about this new user interface change:
I already hated the “Shortcuts visual refresh” and I honestly didn’t think they’d go through with this absolute horror of a redesign, someone on the UI design team really went: “What if I add an absurd amount of border radius to this shi*.” This design style is what a year one UI-design student would get an F over and that’s without even mentioning that it fucks with about 65% of company logo’s, when you add this much border radius to the icons.
This unnecessary introduction only makes the UI look more cluttered, and to make matters worse, there isn’t any toggle as such that would help you revert this change. However, there is one nifty workaround that will help you get this job done. So without further ado, let’s check it out.
