In this guide, we will show you the steps to root the Onyx Boox Note Max. This B/W ePaper Notebook/e-book reader has managed to attract quite a few eyeballs, and mostly for all the right reasons. While ‘ghosting’ is an issue that I’m personally facing [when you turn a page (or change the content), you’ll still be able to see some traces of the old content on screen], but apart from that, it seems to have checked most of the contents with ease. And that’s not it.

It even has something in store for the tech enthusiasts as well- you can root your Onyx Boox Note Max and gain administrative rights over your e-reader.
