How to Run Magic Cue and other AI Features on Rooted Pixel 10

In this guide, we will show you the steps to run the Magic Cue and other AI features on your rooted Pixel 10/Pro/XL/Fold. If you unlock the device’s bootloader or root it via Magisk/KernelSU/APatch , then you’ll have to face some issues with Play Integrity .

But that isn’t the only problem that you’ll have to deal with. None of the AI features present on your Pixel 10 will work if your device has an unlocked bootloader and/or is rooted. So you’ll have to bid adieu to the following AI features:

  • Magic Cue
  • Pixel Screenshots
  • Pixel Journal
  • Pixel Weather
  • Take a Message

Before starting, please take a complete device backup. Droidwin and its members wouldn’t be held responsible in case of a thermonuclear war, your alarm doesn’t wake you up, or if anything happens to your device and data by performing the steps below.   1. To begin with, download the AI Backup of all these features, namely: Magic Cue Pixel Screenshots Pixel Journal Pixel Weather Take a Message Magic Compose Gboard Writing Tools
  2. Then restore this backup on your Pixel 10/Pro/XL/Fold using Neo Backup [ mirror ].
  3. You may now test out all these AI features. However, the first time you enter the Magic Cue’s page, you might get an account problem. To fix this, just exit the Magic Cue page and then come back; the issue will be rectified.
  4. If that doesn’t work out, then turn off Magic Cue before going through the Neobackup restore. Also, delete the data of both the Device Intelligence and AIcore before doing the Neobackup restore. After restoring, Force Stop both Device Intelligence and AIcore. Then, when you turn on Magic Cue, you’ll get the ‘Change Account’ error. Try closing the Phone app and then do a reboot. Now go back to Magic Cue in Settings a few times until the issue gets rectified.
