The below process will wipe off all the data from your device [not that you are in any position to take a backup, still, we thought of mentioning it].   1. First off, download the firmware for your Nothing Phone 2. It is recommended that you download the full firmware instead of the incremental one.
  2. Then extract the firmware. It will be in a 7Z format. So select all files [boot, firmware, and logical] > right-click on them > select 7 ZIP > Extract to .
  3. Now download the Metroid_Fastboot_Flasher script. Then transfer the script to the firmware folder.
  4. Now run the script. It will ask for a format data, hit Y to answer Yes.
  5. It will ask if you wish to flash across both slots, reply Y because we want to make sure that both slots have the latest firmware.
  6. Then it will ask you to disable Android Verified Boot, type in Y.
  7. Next up, when the tool asks to flash the logical partition images, such as system.img, reply Yes by typing Y.
  8. The flashing can take a few minutes. Once done, and if everything went well, hit Y.
  9. On the other hand, if there are any errors during flashing, then hit N, debug the issue, and retry the flashing.
