It is recommended that you go through each of the below-mentioned workarounds once [as well as their associated perks and drawbacks], and then try out the one that is in sync with your requirement. So with that in mind, let’s get started.

METHOD 1: Via Command Line

  • Perk: There’s no need for any third-party tool. Just a single line of command is required.
  • Drawback: A tad bit effort-taking and time-consuming task. Moreover, not everyone is comfortable dealing with the Command Line Interface.
  1. Open Command Prompt inside the same folder where all the .ZIP.001, .ZIP.002, etc files are present.
  2. Then type in the below command, changing the filename accordingly [you may also change the output file name if needed, though it’s optional]. copy /B file.zip.001 + file.zip.002 + file.zip.003 output.zip
  3. All the ZIP files will now be inside the output.zip file. Extract it to get all your files.

METHOD 2: Via 7-ZIP Single Extraction

  • Perk: Apart from the GUI aspect, it is the shortest method out there.
  • Drawback: Requires installation of a third-party app [7-ZIP].
  1. Right-click on the first ZIP file among all [.zip.001] > select Show More Options> 7ZIP > Extract to File Name.
  2. 7Zip will extract all the ZIP files inside the folder, even though you only selected one! Quite interesting, isn’t it!

METHOD 3: Via 7-ZIP Multi-Extraction

Perk: Easy to carry out.

Drawback: A tad longer process than the second method.
  1. First off, select all the files and right-click on them.
  2. Choose Show More Options> 7-Zip> Extract to *.
  3. All the files will be extracted into one single folder.

METHOD 4: Via 7-ZIP File Manager

  • Perk: Gives you a graphical user interface to carry out this task.
  • Drawback: Might not work with all the ZIP files.
  1. Launch 7-Zip and go to the folder where all the .zip.001, .zip.002, etc files are present.
  2. Then right-click on the first file [.zip.001] and select Combine Files.
  3. Choose a location of the output file and hit OK. The process will take some time.
  4. Once done, you’ll get the output file in a ZIP format. Extract it and get the required files!
