How to Use Secure Folder on Rooted/Unlock Bootloader Samsung

When you unlock the bootloader or root an Android device, there are a few problems that you have to face, such as the inability of banking and payment apps to work. However, if you own a Samsung device, then things get even worse. There are a plethora of apps and services that would just refuse to function. These include the likes of:

  • Auto Blocker
  • Galaxy Wearable (Gear Manager)
  • Samsung Cloud
  • Samsung Flow
  • Samsung Health
  • Samsung Health Monitor
  • Samsung TV Plus
  • Secure Folder
  • Secure Wi-Fi
  • SmartThings
  • Smart View
  • Private Share *
  • Samsung Pass
  • Samsung Wallet (Pay)

And the worst part? Well, even if you relock the bootloader, chances are they will still work as the Knox, which was initially tripped during the unlocking of the bootloader, will stay tripped even after relocking. This is because Knox is a hardware component embedded in the motherboard, which gets fused once the bootloader is unlocked.

And the only way to get it back to its original state is by replacing the motherboard, which is neither feasible nor viable for many. So what else can be done? Well, there does exist a method by which you can easily use Secure Folder on your rooted/unlocked bootloader device. And in this guide, we will show you how to do just that. Follow along.
