Fix “Log Tool keeps stopping” error on Nothing OS 4 Android 16

We have found two different tweaks that will help you rectify this issue. We have listed the perks and drawbacks of both these workarounds as well. So go through them once and then try out the one that is in sync with your requirements.
Safe Mode
Benefit: Easy to carry out
Drawback: You wouldn't be able to use any third-party app
This fix is fairly easy to execute and doesn’t require any technicalities or the use of a PC. However, as you might be aware, when you boot your device to Safe Mode, you won’t be able to use any third-party apps, which could prove to be a major dealbreaker for most of you. However, if you are fine with that, then long-press the Power key to bring up the Power menu and then long-press on the Restart option. You’ll then get the Safe Mode prompt, tap OK, and the device will boot to this mode. If at any point in time, you wish to go back to the normal mode, then just do a restart.

ADB Commands
Benefit: You will be able to use the device normally- none of the third-party apps will be disabled.
Drawback: Might be a tad bit technical for some of the users.
- Download and extract Android SDK Platform Tools on your PC.
- Now, enable USB Debugging and connect the device to your PC.
- Then open Command Prompt inside platform-tools and type in: adb shell pm disable-user –user 0 com.nothing.logkit
- This will disable the Toolkit app and you wouldn’t get any error.
That’s it. These were the two different methods that will help you fix the “Log Tool keeps stopping” error on your Nothing device running the latest OS 4 based on Android 16. As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are aware of this issue, but they haven’t given out any ETA for the rollout of a fix.
