LSPosed ‘Not Installed’ even though it’s flashed successfully [Fix]

In this guide, we will show you the steps to fix the issue of LSPosed showing as Not Installed even though it has been flashed successfully. I have come across numerous issues while flashing modules via my rooted apps [ Magisk / KernelSU / APatch ] . However, none of them has been as confusing as this one.

Recently, I was planning to flash Hide My Applist to hide the rooting apps from my banking apps. The first prerequisite for the HMA is to install LSPosed . As you might be aware, the original LSPosed is no longer, but its fork from Jing Matrix is up and running without any issues [it now fully supports Android 16 as well]. So this time around, I flashed this as well and then installed its APK.

Then I launched LSPosed, and straightaway I was greeted with the ‘No Installed’ message. Well, nothing to worry about till now because I was quite sure the issue is with the flashing of the ZIP file only. So I launched KernelSU, went to Modules, and to my surprise, LSPosed was up and running there without any issues whatsoever.

So I then tried the next obvious fix, which is to flash a different version of LSPosed, but again, it was the same scenario- it’s running successfully in KernelSU, but the app still says ‘Not Installed’. I then tried a few additional workarounds and finally stumbled upon one, which I will be sharing in this guide. So without any further ado, let’s check it out.

In order to rectify this issue, you’ll have to flash one of the forks of the LSPosed, which is LSPosed Irena. However, the developer doesn’t release their build in GitHub’s Release section . You’ll either have to get it from their Telegram Channel [https://t.me/lsposed_irena, though I am strictly against going to Telegram to download a file] or via the module’s GitHub Action tab [which I prefer to use].

  1. If we talk about the latter one, then go to their Action tab and choose any of the workflows [the newest one is recommended].
  2. Then scroll to the Artifacts section and click on the download button next to the file named something like LSPosed-v1.9.2-7291-Irena-release .
  3. Moreover, you’ll also have to uninstall the LSPosed APK that you would have gotten from the previous LSPosed Fork.
  4. Instead, extract the Irena build and install the manager.apk file from there.
  5. Finally, do a restart and then verify the result. The app will now be up and running without any issues.
