How to Pair Galaxy Watch with Chinese OS Device: Oppo & OnePlus ColorOS, Vivo OriginOS, Realme UI

Pair Galaxy Watch with Chinese OS Device Oppo OnePlus ColorOS Vivo OriginOS Realme UI - 1
  1. To begin with, download and install the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store on your phone.
  2. Next up, download and install the Galaxy Watch plugin for your watch from the Play Store [links given below]: Watch 3 | Watch 4 | Watch 5 | Watch 6 | Watch 7
  3. Now, download and install the Wear OS by Google Smartwatch from the Play Store.
  4. Now open the native App Store on your device [such as Vivo App Store] and download and install WearOS from there. So you’ll now have two versions of WearOS, one from the Play Store and one from your device’s App Store.
  5. NOTE: If your device’s native App Store doesn’t have Wear OS or your device doesn’t have an App Store in the first place, then download and install the Vivo App Store and then install the WearOS app from there. If you are not able to find it on the Vivo App Store, then you may download and install it from the APKMirror as well.
  6. Now, download and install the Samsung Smart Switch app from the Play Store.
  7. Next up, carry out ‘any one’ of these things, recommended in the order listed: [Try out the first method and proceed with the rest of the steps. If you are unable to achieve success, then move to the next method, and so on.] Force Stop Play Store. Delete Data of the Play Store. Delete Data of Play Services. Uninstall Play Store: adb shell pm uninstall –user 0 com.android.vending . This is the one recommended by the developer, but I have listed it at the very end because it might lead to some adverse consequences. Moreover, there are a few devices that don’t even allow the uninstalling Play Store. So blindly following the rule book isn’t always a great idea :’)
  8. After that, delete the cache of Google Play Services.
  9. Now turn on your watch and make sure you’re currently on the welcome screen.
  10. Next, enable Bluetooth on your device and connect your watch via it.
  11. Then open Galaxy Wearable and go through the setup process. The Galaxy Watch Manager might also be installed during the pairing process.
  12. [NOTE: According to some users, if they had installed the Watch plugin from the Play Store, then they weren’t able to pair their watch. So they had to uninstall the Watch Plugin and pair via the Wearable app. The pairing was then successful, and after that, the Wearable app auto installed the Watch plugin on their device.
  13. Now, make sure that all the apps that we have installed are set to Auto Start; in other words, they should not have any battery or network restrictions.
  14. Moving on, if you had earlier uninstalled the Play Store, then reinstall it right now.
  15. Finally, launch the Play Store and download and install the Samsung Health app from it.
