It is recommended that you try out each of the below-mentioned workarounds and then see which one spells out success. So with that in mind, let’s get started.

Downgrade Camera

The easiest fix is to downgrade the Google Camera app to an older version; anything belonging to version 9.x will do. Here’s how this can be done:

  1. First off, head over to Settings > Apps > All Apps > Camera.
  2. Tap on the overflow icon and select Uninstall Updates > OK.
  3. Now go to the Play Store and search the Google Camera app.
  4. Finally, tap on the overflow icon and uncheck Auto Updates.

UsingGmsCompatLib

Apart from that, you can also install the GmsCompatLib app v100 from the GrapheneOS store.

Has GrapheneOS Taken Any Steps?

Yes. They have already applied the patch in its latest alpha build [ v2025102600 ], and the fix will soon be live in the stable build. Once that happens, you can stay on the Camera version 10.x and there will be no need to use the GmsCompatLib as well.
