Rotate to Landscape Mode Greyed Out in One UI 7 [Fixed]
In this guide, we will show you a method to fix the issue of Rotate to Landscape Mode being greyed out in One UI 7. The seventh iteration of the OS from the South Korean giant has been the most talked about in recent years, and unfortunately, not for all the right reasons. One major reason for the same is the fact that it kept on missing one deadline after another, so much so that users have now completely given up on Android 15 and are now directly looking forward to One UI 8!

And the ones who have received the update are having to deal with one issue after another. The latest one to make its presence felt is the issue of Rotate to Landscape Mode in the Home Screen settings being greyed out in One UI 7. Users have tried the usual workarounds of toggling the Auto-Rotate and restarting their device, but to no avail. If you are also getting bugged with this problem, then this guide will help you out. Follow along for the fix.

The culprit behind this issue is the Home Up module in Good Lock. For the unaware, this module allows you to customize the home and overview screen by rotating, resizing, and moving app icons, folders, and widgets. So, to rectify this bug, you just need to turn off the Home Up module in Good Lock. So launch Good Lock, select Home Up, and turn off the toggle next to it. That’s it.

On that note, we round off this guide. As far as the official stance on this matter is concerned, the developers are yet to acknowledge this issue, let alone give out any ETA for the rollout of a fix. As and when any of these two things happen, we will update this guide accordingly. In the meantime, the aforementioned workarounds are your best bet.
